Corn on the Cob
Not to be too CORNY but welcome SUMMER! Seriously, nothing says summer quite like a good ear of corn on the cob. So I’ve found a great way to make it quick and easy in the microwave.
Take the ear of corn and wrap it in a damp paper towel.
Microwave it for 1 min & 45 sec and rotate it once during that time.
Peal back the husk, butter and salt to taste… After heating it up the husks and silks come off really easy. This is so easy and wastes less water, and time (boiling it), especially if you only want to make one or two at a time.
Oh shucks… I wish I would have learn about this sooner! Mmmm summer time. LOVE IT!
