Cauliflower Pizza Crust

So we are in a day and age where carbs are everywhere. Don’t get me wrong, I love bread and carbs but if I want a tone and fit tummy for summer I’ll need to cut back were I can.

Ingredients: crust
2 cups of cauliflower (grated)
1 cup mozzarella
2 tbs parmesan cheese
1 egg
1/2 tbs crushed garlic (I found mine at trader joes! I love the product)
Salt and pepper to taste

Ingredients: topping
Pizza sauce
1/2 cup mozzarella
Optional: basil & mushrooms

Preheat the oven to 450
Grate the cauliflower

Microwave for 7 min (I took it out after 5 min)

Add egg, garlic, parm, salt, pepper (I just shook some in the bowl), and mozzarella

Kneed and mix in a bowl until everything is mixed in and sticking together.

Use some parchment paper on a pizza stone or pan of your choice.
Toss the “dough” on and flatten it out.

Cook for 15 -20 min, until brown on the edges

Looks a little like this.


Add pizza sauce, cheese, and other toppings. Bake again for 10-15 min.

Yummy!!! It smelled amazing and was a lot like pizza. It is a good substitute for now. 🙂

  1. This sounds yummy. If you want a toner tummy faster cut out dairy, that cheese is high in fat and calories! It all the rage in rice lake. People are cutting out gluten and dairy specifically just to loose weight.

    Me, well I am trying not to be offended that they can easy all that yummy stuff and won’t! Lol oh the grass is greener on the other side. 🙂
